I finished reading the Half-Blood Prince on Monday, and initially, I wasn’t too excited. I did think it was a great setup for the last book, but on it’s own I felt it lacked legs.
Well, it’s 3:45 AM right now, and I just had a dream about the book, and with it came a pretty major realization. I’m pretty sure I’ve cracked a good portion of the mystery of the book, and it’s pretty kickass. I’m 95% certain I know what happened and what is going to happen, and if I’m wrong, then it’s what should’ve happened, cause it’s pretty kickass.
In any case, my vision totally redeemed the book for me, and now I can’t wait for the next one to see if I’m right. And if I’m right, I’ll begin teaching a Divinations course, and you are all invited.
