Monday: Lunch at Lee’s Grill: Chicken teriyaki (yet again). If you haven’t had this dish yet, please go do that now. Anything from their hibachi menu is delicious.

Monday: Dinner from Asian Express: Straying from the sashimi and string beans, I ordered the Orange Beef. Thinly cut lightly battered fried strips of beef in a tangy sauce with a hint of bitters from the orange peels. It was awesome, although it doesn’t travel as well as the string beans. If there were a way to have this dish straight out of the kitchen, it would be incredible.

Tuesday: Lunch at Papa Razzi: Papa Razzi is a chain of Italian restaurants along the east coast with one location in Georgetown. We randomly chose it on one of our first visits to Georgetown, and it was so good we keep going back. We had to get our visas from the Indian Embassy for our upcoming trip. We dropped off our passports and headed up to Georgetown. We started with the fried cheese appetizer which is lightly breaded fresh mozzarella pan fried. Stretchy and delicious. I’m so used to fried mozzarella being made with crappy oil based cheese, that the flavor of the fresh mozzarella really caught me off guard with how good it was. For lunch I ordered a pasta dish …

Wednesday: Dinner at Cocina Del Sol: To celebrate Erica’s successful qualifier, we decided to head over to the new Cocina Del Sol in Charlottesville. It’s located in a little strip shopping center on Barracks and lacks all of the charm of the original’s cute little house in Crozet. While the atmosphere doesn’t compare with the Crozet location, the food is just as good. I ordered the pork tacos, and they were spicy and flavorful. Pineapple and pork is an excellent combo.
